Browser group chat facts
One room, several characters joining in
| Browser access | Use TheirSide directly in a supported web browser without installing a desktop or mobile app. |
|---|---|
| Free and guest access | A signed-out guest preview opens with Mio and Kai. The Free plan includes limited AI group chat and one AI group room per month. |
| Participants | A freeform room contains one human user and one to four AI characters. It is not a real-time multi-human group chat. |
| Character-to-character context | A later AI character may respond to a previous AI message because the room supplies shared recent-message context; this is conditional rather than a fixed turn queue. |
| Limits | This does not guarantee which speaker replies, speaker order, response latency, that every character replies, or repeatable output. It is not a real-time multi-human chat service. |
What it is
More than one assistant—an entire room of characters
AI group chat is different from a single assistant thread. You can bring multiple fictional AI characters into one conversation, add your own custom characters, or step into a scripted scene where the room already has tension.
Create a room
Start with Mio and Kai, then build your own cast
Start with the fixed Mio and Kai guest room, then decide whether the same idea needs a custom cast or a scripted scene.
Try the guest group room- 01
Open the guest room
Use the link below to load the fixed Mio and Kai preview without creating an account.
- 02
Write one shared prompt
Give the room a question, conflict, or scene fact that both AI characters can respond to.
- 03
Compare the character voices
Read how each AI character reacts to the same context, then clarify the scene when their replies need more direction.
- 04
Move to a custom or scripted room
Sign in when you want to use your own authorized character material, keep account-controlled history, or choose a scene with role slots and known facts.
Use cases
When one voice is not enough
- Freeform AI group chat with more than one character voice
- Scripted story scenes such as misunderstandings, copied promises, or social conflicts
- Custom characters created from avatar uploads and editable profiles
- AI character conversations with history, memory, image, and voice support where enabled
Group chat vs one character
One character or a roomful?
