A useful character profile gives a voice something to reach for, something to protect, and a clear way to enter the scene. Start with the complete fictional example below, replace each field in your own words, and export when the profile feels coherent.

All nine fields are included in both exports. Keep details specific enough to guide a scene, but leave room for the character to respond rather than recite a biography.

Describe who the character is in the story and what responsibility they carry.

Combine a few traits with tension or contrast instead of listing only adjectives.

Note rhythm, vocabulary, habits, and language the character avoids.

Give the character an immediate want and a larger unresolved aim.

Name the loyalties, frictions, and expectations that shape how they respond.

State content, behavior, or decision-making limits the character should respect.

Write the first line in the character's voice with a clear invitation to reply.

Set a place, moment, and unresolved pressure that can move the exchange forward.
